 Some teacher reflection questions

Q. Eileen tells us that growing up she got a lot of joy from making. Does this resonate with you? Did you have a similar experience when you were younger?

Q. Eileen uses the analogy of a bouncy ball in a room to explain how constraints drives her creativity. In your experience, do you feel constraints help to promote creativity and lead to you explore?

Q. Pausing and reflecting are shared as steps that are very important as Eileen seeks to move forward with her work. Do you pause and reflect in your work? What sort of questions do you ask yourself as you move forward?

Q. Eileen speaks about the process of naming her paintings and the meaning that can be behind the name vs using the name as a way to index them. When you look at a painting, is the name of the piece at the forefront of your mind? Why/why not?

Q. Eileen shares with us the importance she places on receiving feedback on her work and discussing it with others. How do you go about getting feedback on your work?
