Breakdown Artist

Sandra graduated from NCAD with a degree in textiles and a diploma in art and design teaching. After a spell as a secondary school art teacher and then fulfilling a childhood dream of being a "make & do" girl on children's tv, in 1999 she began working in The Abbey Theatre. It was here that she discovered the wonderful world of costume breakdown and she has been wreaking havoc on unsuspecting items of clothing ever since!
